Who cares....!!
Since the onset of 2007 life has been very eventful....or rather adventurous for me and this is how it goes in a nutshell....
1. Left a well settled, high-paying...may be, may not be and more importantly a very comfortable job.
2. In the process kicked the associated company stocks and the jaw-dropping year-end bonuses...
3. Joined a start-up, of course with a relatively fatter pay packet.
4. In this process, have taken up a challenging role...again may be, may not be.
2006 did not go so well as to my career plans...But who cares and what the hell...attitude got the better of me. I know that I needed this freedom from the whims of a super-large organisation from a long time...May be, this is the time to take some career-level risks. Of course, there will be the uncertainty if it pays off or not...But again, it got to and who cares...If there are mistakes, I am prepared to learn from it...
It is Now-or-Never! This is my window of opportunity to prove my mettle...not to anybody but only to me and myself! All this I know I am doing to make a destiny I long for....

Well its been started by two blokes - one a director of SAP labs and other a well-know architect in SAP. It is into SAP consulting.
I hope the experience and learnings would do me a hell of a good in the long run.
Remember our plans during the hostel days...I guess its al least on for me...;-)
Thanks for bucking me up!

Good to see another viewer of 'theprotagonist'.
Thanks for the wishes...and I will try to keep everyone updated ;-) BTW, its really encouraging to see buddies like you so regular with their journals...

I don't think you would regret this either way. The experience would go a long way. What kind of startup are you working for? I still hope one day I can get out of the shackles of corporations.
Have fun!
