Since 1978 - A whacky introduction!!
Hi,
I am Sudipta...and m a guy...coz my name sounds to be a gal's :)).
Only 2day I have created my first web blog. Well, if you are wondering what was I doing for 4-5 years since web-blogs come into being...I wud say I don't know...may be coz I didn't think it to be a fad or may be I simply didn't care. But only recently, I found this to be a quite an interesting idea to maintain ones own personal log/diary on the net...one reason might be that m 2 lazy to maintain entry of my life in a personal diary and it also becomes convinient to log my random thoughts in a idiot box with whom I spend 6-8 hrs a day 5 days-a-week and my,my...have already spent 7 years of my "not-so-eventful-life". Seriously...this idiot-box has suddenly become my sole purpose of existence.
For the sake of a formal introduction, I am a so called a "software-guy". For the green-horns who do not know what "software" is...well, you see,it is quite synonymous with "underwear" ;-). I live in Bangalore,India like any other 200,000 "software-guys" and mistakingly strayed till here from a remote corner of the country(Assam) to eke out a living.
Anywayz, so to speak of my hobbies and past-time activities. I read...obviously books..fiction/non-fiction...my all time favourites being 'Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy','The Catcher in the Rye','The Insrutable Americans'(with due apologies...),'Catch-22','English August','The Da-Vinci Code'....and of course, Scott Adams all time satire 'The Dilbert Principal'!!
Then am a movie-buff...all time favs being 'The Matrix','Nothing Hill','Hera-Pheri','Hungama','Shrek'...and all the oldies war/west classics.
Then, I also love playing tennis...am not a pro...but can manage to put up a fight. And, I simply enjoy taking a swim after a few tennis games. I also like working out in the gym or at home.
Am basically a loner and a taciturn!! So, a blog like this really helps give vent to my thoughts afterall...
Any ideas or comments from anyone of you out there are welcome! :-)
